Service: 4/5 , Friendly staff, yet they seem to forget about you, have to ask for the menus at the counter it just felt like a self-service dynamic. Aside from that, it's a family-friendly and cozy environment.

This time we ordered Seafood Chowder, a creamy soup with salmon, smoked haddock, and mussels in a white wine cream broth and spring onion served with brown soda bread and butter. However, the soup was a bit watery and not as creamy as you would expect.

We also like to have this soup with a portion of Crisp Pork Belly Bites, which are just the perfect accompaniment. Slow-cooked pork belly with Asian- inspire dipping sauce. The menu extends from stews to pizzas, and from popular dishes to sandwiches.

The location is ideal since you can wander around Leixlip after or before stopping by this lovely, cosy, but most importantly tasteful site in the heart of Leixlip. Overall, I would say it is a good value for money experience in the Irish countryside.
