For Starter we tried the Pork Rib and Black Pudding Croquette , which was tasty but a little small for the price. It just came with one small croquette, and salad.
Seafood Chowder is my go-to since I like to compare it to other restaurants. This creamy soup with cod, salmon, smoked haddock, prawns and mussels in a creamy fish stock served with homemade Guinness brown bread and butter, is out of this world. There was enough fish that you could taste and enjoy each one. Oh! As I type this review, my mouth is watering.
We also got the Fish Pie, which was large enough to feed two people and de-li-cious. It has cod, salmon, smoked haddock, creamy mash potato, parmesan crust and side salad.
And for dessert, we had the Cheesecake of the Day, Raspberry, which did not disappoint.
Overall, I believe it provides decent value for money. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and calm. Worth considering for a romantic date.
Definitively coming back.
