Corn tortillas are the foundation of the Mexican cuisine; with them, you can make everything from the famous quesadillas to enchiladas to tacos dorados. Even a basic taco de sal, which is just the tortilla and salt, tastes fantastic, or for extra joy you can add avocado and the flavour is just unreal. You probably think this is not easy to prepare, but it is quite simple and can be completed in 10 minutes.

Ingredients:
1 cup of Corn (maize) flour.
3/4 cup of water.
Pinch of Salt.
Instructions:
Sift the corn flour into a mixing basin and season with salt.
Begin gradually adding the water until the dough is fully incorporated and has a firm but not too tight consistency.
Continue by making small dough balls of the same size until the dough is finished.
Place a ball in a plastic bag in your tortilla press. Gently press until the width is neither too thick nor too thin.
Place your tortilla dough on a preheated pan and leave it for a few minutes before flipping it over to cook on both sides.
Tips: - If you don't have a tortilla press, you can use a rolling pin or your hands.
- Place the tortillas on a cloth to keep them warm until you've used up all of the dough.
